I have some favorite pieces from here that are spectacular, but most impressive was the view of the forum from the veranda that John took pictures of with every filter on the camera. Some worked very well and others not so well, we’ll stick to the ones that were good. I got to spend some time with the Dying Gaul and John and I were able to catch a bus back to the area of the hotel because my feet are killing me. I kept saying that I can’t see the seven hills that
Rome is supposed to be built on, but my
legs can see them as we go up and down every damn street in this town. So, sitting on the bus is a win for me right
now.
After cleaning up some, we took everyone down to the Piazza Navona for the evening. We let them loose for gelato and spent some time walking around the square, going in stores, getting chilly because the nights in Rome are surprisingly chilly and I’m thinking
that a sweatshirt
might be in order, but there is still another suitcase that we have not opened
that I think has warmer things in it. We
have been using the smaller suitcase so far, and hawk eyed people will start to
spot the redundancy in our outfits before too long since we only have two

Really? Just your small suitcase for the two of you for two weeks? Yikes, I can't go for a weekend with that little luggage. I hope there's a washer and dryer at the next destination. LOL Your blog is fantastic and it has added Italy back on my bucket list but, I want to go with you as tour guides.
