Milan's Duomo

We walked down to the Duomo after the last supper and I must say that this is different from every other church in Italy.  It is gothic, or as Rachel would put it, as close as Italians ever got to Gothic.  The interior is lacking compared to the outside.  We did get a student discount to
climb it and nobody really wanted to go up another set of stairs, but John threatened us with participation points being lost, but it would be our “choice”.  So, everyone climbed and this might have been the first thing that we climbed that everyone enjoyed.  The top opens
out to a big terrace where you can see all of Milan, the Alps, and sit around sunbathing and soaking it in.  This was the first time that we were able to spend time together as a group at the top of something and it was fun.  So, everyone enjoyed this climb and we were able to
go spend some time in the Golden Triangle for shopping or at least the Galleria of it.  We got to window shop and seen things that are way too expensive for us and gawk at all the trendy people walking past.  Nancy’s travel guide said that it was good luck to spin around on a marble picture of a bull in the middle of the gallery (more specifically on the bull’s balls) and we all had to have a go at this activity.  I have to say that girls doing this looking less weird than guys because what guy would grind his heals into another one’s balls even for the best of luck?
