Classes starting soon

John’s nervous about class starting, which he is always nervous at the start of a semester, but this is even bigger because these are international students at a University that he is not very familiar with.  So, he’s even more stressed.  I plan on being supportive by getting my own work done while he is at work which includes doing the blog and my essential learning for work.  We have to complete a set of required computer learnings every year and they are due on

 June 30^th.  So, I can connect and spend time reading the same stuff that I’ve read for the last 7 years about fire safety, drugs in the workplace, ethics, fraud, cultural diversity, etc, etc, etc.  I wish that I could say that this is interesting or anything else, but it’s not.  I

have to get through it though and will be able to have time to get this done now instead of trying to get it done at work in between other things.  Maybe if I read the information more closely, I’ll find that there are hidden gems of information that I’ve been missing….At least there is another world cup game with the

  Netherlands playing to look forward to tomorrow afternoon.  It will be interesting to see how the earlier start time has an effect on the partying.  There are still parts of town where filming is going on and it’s interesting to see huge light towers lighting up the town hall so that they can film inside.  Even though they most likely won’t make this movie with English subtitles, John and I will have to look for it just to see places we’ve been and people that we’ve seen.
