recuperation and getting into a groove

We have had a real vacation this week in that we have rested,
relaxed, John has gotten some work done on his class that starts next week and we have been trying to settle in to the new place.  Margaret has taken us around town as we walk every night after dinner and we are getting our bearings some.  I keep forgetting to wear sunscreen on short walks
around the square or around the high street when we are shopping because we don’t leave for long and it seems like we’re in the shade from buildings, but I can always feel the sun later and itch a lot.  The weather has been beautiful and
there is a softness to the air here.  It’s so different to be living on the main square of town, although, it’s not the best when you are trying to sleep and people are still living it up outside, but you need the windows open in order to get some air…but otherwise, a 2 block walk for John to go to
work, a 2 block walk to just about everything really and market days every Monday and Thursday when you can buy anything you want less than a block from the house.
