has done nothing but disappoint the hell out of me, but John thought he could look up something and it would show us where it was. Well, we picked a burger place and started out for it and stopped in a cigar shop where the man there told us that it was more known for its nachos than burgers, but he
knew another place that had good burgers and I remembered reading in the magazine about the place he mentioned. We find the first place and the burgers don’t seem all that and there is no one there to help us sit or anything, so we head to the second place. This place looks promising burger wise, but
it’s right off Bourbon street and they don’t allow anyone under 21 in because there is gaming in the back. Really?!?!?! this was probably why no one tried to seat us at the last place either because we had a stroller with us and it was even closer to Bourbon Street. But this guy tells us that there is a place
around the corner that has dining on the balcony
that will allow us to bring the Bean, so we head there and find food that we
can eat. We eat overlooking Bourbon
street, which does make for an interesting meal. Oscar is starting to act up at the table for
the first time and we figure that other people eating on Bourbon street don’t
want to hear this, so we head off to find Sucre, which I read about before we
ever got to New Orleans. It’s a place
run by a pastry chef and is renowned for desserts. What’s not to like about that? The prices mon ami. My, my the prices. I got John and I a macaroon each for almost
$5. They were good, but I could have
made due with a double stuffed oreo….
