the National Museum

I have to apologize that the blog is looking weird.  It looks fine in the posting page on the computer and then, when you view it, it doesn't look right.  I'm not as computer savvy as I should be to be a blogger.
The next day, Oscar wakes up in a semi normal way and we’re able to have some breakfast and be with the group at the Palazzo Massimo for my favorite museums in Rome.  Oscar handles these museums okay because daddy and I are both
there to control him and there is a cloister garden to play in for an hour.  He spent the whole time gathering rocks, going up  and down stairs, and playing with the students that were having a drink in the courtyard to the point that I didn’t have to
worry about him touching a statue that he shouldn’t or anything else.  So, even though John wasn't able to get his perfect coffee for cheap like he had talked up to the students because the machine was broken, it was still a great visit
to a museum that I always love to return to.  We went from here to the church attached to the Baths of Diocletian that Michelangelo designed to be part of the baths because we haven’t seen this space yet and that was nice to see, but it had
been overly decorated in the Baroque style with a ton of trompe l’oeil columns and everything.  I liked it myself and even though Oscar started to  fuss, we were able to head out in good fashion and hit a stand up bar for lunch.  We were waiting for my focaccia
with olives in it to heat up and the crepe to cook for Oscar when I realized that he had finally succumbed to a nap, so John and I got to eat his crepe which was pretty good.  He napped in his stroller in the hotel and was waking up when it was time to leave for the Gallery Borghese.
