Chanticleer and the food that we've eaten

John was the only one motivated enough to get on a bus at 7 am again in order to see the Chanticleer garden that was an hour away in Pennsylvania.  He said that it was his favorite garden of all the ones that we saw this week, but he had to in order to make Rachel and I feel bad about not going...He did take some beautiful pictures and it seems to be the only garden where there were no talks and there was time to sit and enjoy a garden.  Rachel and I got to sleep in, have a nice breakfast, and plan to meet him at Winterthur later in the day.  Not only did we make sure to return to our hotel every night for complimentary drinks and snacks, but they have a full breakfast with made to order omelets.
So, we have been trying some places that stand out on the lists for food and that included Caffe Gelato with some seriously good homemade pasta, mussels, and gelato that was very good.

We couldn't leave Delaware without having some crab and blue crab was the place in Newark for it.  John had the most amazing scallops that I got to eat for him (not really), I had a spinach salad with lump crab and bacon vinaigrette, and Rachel got crab cake.  We topped off the night with some amazing desserts too.  www.bluecrabgrill.com
Then there was a place that I had read about that did pulled turkey sandwiches and we got a huge sandwich of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce....awesome and a Delaware institution judging from the number of them around the area.  capriottis.com
