it further and further away. So, I laid there and hoped that John was sleeping well because I was going to make him do the hard driving home in the middle of the night. We headed out at 1pm and walked around the empty arena complex, got some more free food at the alumni lunch and then headed to the game. This game was not a good one and Ferris didn’t make it to Tampa, but it meant that we got to leave early because the game was out of reach by the last
part of the 3rd period. It felt like bugging out on our guys, but we had a long drive home and they had a chartered jet, so we bailed. Coming out of downtown, I’ve already done this one day and feel that I know where I need to go to hit the interstate and start our journey, but we listen to the GPS on the phone instead and it reminds me why I hate GPS systems. It tells me to go the opposite direction that I turned coming out of the parking garage, and while I know this can’t be right, I do a u-turn and follow the directions.
The directions take me in a complete circle around the parking garage to the SAME PLACE I WAS TRYING TO GO IN THE FIRST DAMN PLACE!!! WHY!?!?!?!? So, now that I have a smartphone, I think I’m going to google map things and still just follow the map and then never turn on the actual navigation thing that is wrong most of the time. We’ll see if I stick with that. Enjoy the cute pictures of Oscar getting up close and personal time with Brutus. When you follow the team to off site locations, you get more attention and he got to touch Brutus' fangs and check him out for a long time.
