The thinker is trying to figure out Oscar |
The next morning, the group is starting out at the Rodin museum near the hotel, so Oscar and I are joining and beat the group in because I get to go in the special baby with stroller line of security and Oscar is out running around in the garden and giving high fives to the students still in line for a while before they get in. I thought that this would be a good museum because it’s

mainly set in a garden, but there are works in the house that you can go in and see and Oscar throws a severe fit in there. He wants nothing to do with looking at art today, so he and I head back out into the garden for him to walk up and down a
ramp repeatedly and wait for John to finish seeing the art inside. We then persuade him to walk in certain directions so that we can look at the pieces out in the garden and John gets to enjoy this museum like he’s seeing it for the first time

because the last time we were here was on Ted and David’s study abroad where John was learning how to do this stuff. Ted told him to be in charge of taking the group to the Rodin museum and John stressed about it so much that he got a raging

migraine and couldn’t really see most of the works. He had blocked out that memory until we returned and he realized that he hadn’t seen most of the works we were looking at. Oscar was ready for a nap before the group was due to meet and we weren’t going with them to the Pantheon, so a return to the hotel for a nap is in order.
And if the damn wifi at the hotel wasn’t such
shit, I could have posted all of these blogs in that time frame because Oscar
slept for almost 3 and a half hours.
