one last bit of Toledo...

This post's rant come courtesy of John Scott Gray.  I tried to get him to write a guest rant, but he declined.  I'm not sure why since he was livid when we left the museum...

Rachel and I decided that we couldn't miss the glass exhibit that was on display across the street in the few minutes that we had left before the museum closed, so we left John in the gift shop with the decision to meet out front...
When we got there, not only had he been waiting for us for a while (there was way more glass than we expected), he had chosen to spend the rest of the time in the museum trying to find the Georgia O'Keefe that they have that was not in the gallery.
First, he went to the person in the gift shop, then the security person in the main gallery wing, then the information desk, and got allowed into the board room of their museum because someone thought that it could be in there.   It seems that while it's gallery was being

renovated, they decided to shove their one work by a known female artist in storage.  John made himself very clear on his displeasure about this incidence and ranted down to the Ohio Turnpike about the injustice of it all.
