getting to the last stop...

The traffic seemed to be confined to Atlanta and once we got on
Georgia 400 to Cumming area, everything cleared out some.  We were able to make good time up to the house and Oscar fell asleep in the car after so many pancakes.  He got a bright awakening though because 3 kids came pouring out of the house to greet him
when we arrived.  He was again overwhelmed a little and for the first time did that usual kid thing of clinging to me before finally letting go and starting to play.  We were able to unload some more stuff from the car, but then promptly filled it again with gifts.  Kevin and Lori got
John a beer making kit which I can only assume will poison him.  Maybe friends who know more about chemistry or stuff like that can help him avoid killing others with a bad beer.   It was fun to exchange gifts and Oscar warmed up by then and started to play with the
kids.  We had lasagna and Oscar became more difficult to give medicine to for this visit.  I got some yarn and a devotee to learn to crochet with, so Carly and I made scarves this weekend which is the best thing you can get a yarn freak....
After dinner and some catching up, we stay up to watch the ball drop in New York and ring in 2016 without any kids awake for it….
