Oscar got up super early this morning and we’re not sure
why. I
dozed with him watching the ipad for an hour while John snored some more because we didn’t want him to wake up the whole house. This is the first morning that it felt like Oscar was still on east coast time. Suddenly, it didn’t matter that we want to keep him to only 30 minutes of tv or youtube a day. We just wanted to rest for a few more minutes. We got up finally and headed to downtown Eureka for a bee festival and were able to get homemade honey wine, candy and cookies. We then headed to see Kim’s business space in downtown which offered even more chances for Oscar to run around like a wild man. I’ve offered an exchange with Kim for Mother’s day, I’ll make Bolognese sauce for dinner and she gives me a massage with essential oils. I think I’m getting the better end of the bargain, but no one wants therapy as an exchange…John went to the bookstore that he loved when we lived here and Oscar and I found some fast bamboo cars at a toy store. Back home for nap time and some more time in the sun again. Two days in one week is a first for Eureka.
